Coral Sunrise Summer Makeup Tutorial

Step 1: Apply a eye primer/ base from the lashline to the brow bone, in order to ensure your eyeshadows will stay on all day long. Take a matte transparent powder and set the primer only from the crease up.
Tip: Setting from the crease up will make blending much easier and less patchy.
What I used: NYX Eyeshadow Base - Skin Tone & Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - Transparent
Step 2: Take a fluffy blending brush and apply a matte light tan eyeshadow throughout the crease and slightly above.
Tip: Transition colors help blend darker colors in the crease seamlessly.

Step 3: Use a blending brush to apply a matte burnt orange eyeshadow in the crease and blend upward. Blend it towards the nose bridge instead of following your crease line downward towards the inner corner.
Tip: Blending it across to the nose bridge opens up the eye slightly.

Step 4: Apply a dark maroon red matte eyeshadow directly into the crease and blend carefully so that the pigmentation stays strongest in the crease line. Try not to blend too high up. After that take a matte vibrant true red eyeshadow and use the slightest amount to blend it throughout the crease. It doesn't have to be too precise.
Tip: Adding vibrant bright colors to the crease can easily kick up the color intensity.
What I Used: Makeup Geek Eyeshadow- Bitten & Lorac AfterGlo Eyeshadow Palette - Red Shadow

Step 5: Here's the fun part! Take a flat synthetic brush and take a makeup spray or even water and dampen the brush. Tap the brush into a pink pigment that has gold reflex through it and apply it to the eyelids up to the crease. Do not apply it into the crease. Keep a bit of space for blending.
Tip: Dampening eyeshadow on your brush can help amp up the pigmentation/shine. This can only be done to shimmer/satin eyeshadows and pigments, not matte eyeshadows.
What I Used: MAC Cosmetics Fix + & MAC Cosmetics Pigment - Rose

Step 6: Take a matte warm dark brown  eyeshadow and apply it to the outer corner of the eyelid and bring it up half way into the crease. When applying it into the crease keep the color contained in the line socket and blend it slightly up, not too far. You want to create a gradient in the crease from dark to light.
Tip: Apply little by little and take your time blending with darker colors. This will make sure it blends gradually and isn't darker than what you want.
What I Used: Lorac Pro Palette - Expresso

Step 7: Apply a shimmery champagne eyeshadow to the brow bone. Mix the champagne color with a shimmery lemon yellow eyeshadow and apply it to the inner corner.
Tip: Appling inner corner highlights with your finger can give you amazing pigmentation and shine.
What I used: Makeup Geek Eyeshadows - Shimma Shimma & Lemon Drop

Step 8: Apply black winged eyeliner, mascara on the top and bottom lashes, and black or dark brown eyeliner into the water line. Use the dark brown eyeshadow from earlier and apply it close to the bottom lash line. Blend it out with a mix of the burnt orange and maroon red eyeshadows.
What I used: Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette - Tunnel Vision (Black shadow for eyeliner), Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara & NYX Slim Eye Pencil - Black

Step 9: Finally, apply a peachy pink lipstick or a nude with a coral undertone!
What I Used: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Cannes & Stockholm

Hope you enjoy and try it out yourself!
