L'Oreal Summer Siren

In the interest of increasing my posting frequency over a usual weekend so I can remind you to vote for Locavore if you haven't already, I decided that the L'Oreal summer display needed to be shared right now rather than waiting for more new things to show up in stores by me. I saw this at the Bed Bath & Beyond that's on my way home from work; it's one of the ones that has a health & beauty section. (I was looking for Color Clubs for a swap which they did not have, so I guess this was my consolation prize from the universe.)



Of course my eyes went right to the four bright nail polish colors in back; they're called Coral Starfish, Yellow Seahorse, Pink Shells, and Blue Marine. There are also four lipglosses, two eyeshadow palettes, two bronzers, and something called "Sublime Bronze One Day Tinted Gel" which evidently is something I'm supposed to slather all over to look caramel-colored.

The polishes are all shimmers, and they look pretty, at least in the bottles.









I haven't yet decided which of these to try. I can't get Pink Shells because of my no-buy for pinks and reds. The blue looks somewhat similar to Charla and her many dupes, though I don't know if the finish is the same. The yellow is likely to look bad on my skintone. That leaves the orange, which seems like the leading candidate right now. I may just surprise myself and get none of them, but that doesn't seem likely, especially if I see them on sale.
