In a series of two photos she shared Saturday, September 8, the 26-year-old served lewks in a simple but sleek black strapless dress, which she accentuated with a high ponytail and classic hoop earrings. Already giving off major Catwoman vibes, she took things to the next level with a smoky eye, rust-colored shiny lip, and — of course — a perfect cat-eye.

Photos of Selena's full outfit soon made the rounds, and it's pretty safe to say that the bottom half was just as fierce as the top...although slightly more confusing. The dress, which contained a solid slit up the leg, fell right above Selena's knee-high Fendi boots. Yep, that's right, those are boots — not socks, as you might think at first glance. And if you want to fool your friends (or Instagram followers) with a pair of your own, you can buy 'em for a cool $1,190. An optical illusion never looked this chic.
